Is it a space filled with collective knowledge, and collaboration? Or is it an area to learn from? Wikipedia is all of these things. It’s a place to share knowledge and acquire knowledge. A place to conform to a group or have a solo experience; maybe even both. Wikipedia's ability to let users keep their individuality while also letting them find the community that adheres to their interest adds to the user-friendliness of the site. Furthermore, Wikipedia also fosters the idea of credibility despite the generalizations held against them, which in turn helps promote Wikipedia as it continues to grow.
